A Recollection

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

This version of the classic tale was more "modern", though that phrase doesn't apply today. It's about a bratty queen and a simple country girl in the big city.

The characters below were the main cast.

The Jungle Man

A man raised by gorillas, he may look human, but he does not act human. Traivan has never seen others like him before - humans - and is confused yet curious when they arrive to his jungle home.

The fearsome Queen Helen. Since she was a young princess, she demanded things go her way otherwise she throws a tantrum. The Queen is no stranger to chopping off the heads of those she finds disrespectful.

Alison is a girl from the countryside; she has never been to a city before, but she finds herself intrigued by these curious new concepts and city life in general.

The Lady

Lady Barbara has been noble from birth. Her father had been granted the title of Lord for his loyalty and dedication to the Crown, securing his family's legacy with the nobles. She enjoys her life and can't imagine abandoning it. Not even for interesting strangers.

Dallas (whose real name is Larry) is used to living free and outside the law. He was never one to entertain the idea of a cushy, rich man life, despite how hard it is to steal just to live - it's free and that's all that matters...For now.

Prince Charming

Prince Henri doesn't want much to do with his title, or the boring responsibilities of a prince (and soon-to-be-king). Not yet, anyway, and especially not when he has to attend boring dances. However, he can't resist dancing with a pretty face. There's a reason he's sometimes dubbed "Prince Charming" after all.

The Evil Stepsister

Adeline's life got twice as worse when her hated stepsister went off to marry a prince - her mother suddenly pushed Adeline to find a husband sooner, to find something just below prince levels, such as a Duke or Lord. Unfortunately, she found a baker instead.

Sleeping Beauty's Prince

Prince Philo is noble and known to take his future role of king seriously - though the youth always seems to find a way to disobey the rules set by their elder generations, and Philo does this by simply not caring for social status like his father insists.

The Evil Fairy

Facinorell (previously known as "Ell" by her friends) is a well-known evil fairy and wicked sorceress feared across the kingdom. She is easy to offend yet elegant in her wrong-doing, and often unfair to strangers who wander into her territory, no matter who they may be.

The Princess

Magnolia is a stubborn princess who insists on marrying for love, to her father's (The Sultan's) dismay. She often dreams of escaping her palace life, tired of being sheltered as if she were a girl and not a woman.

The Royal Vizier

Yahya serves the Sultan, the only man who can command him, loyally...On the surface. Beneath, he's an evil sorcerer seeking power through marrying the princess. When she doesn't bite, he turns his attention to her visiting cousin instead.

Brigitte seeks adventure far beyond her small village. While the villagers believe she's only a young woman with a large imagination, she knows there has to be more out there.

Cocky for good reason, Gérard is one of the best hunters in the village, nevermind probably the strongest man. Only one person has rejected him, and though it bruised his ego, he'll just go heal it by flirting with the third most beautiful person in town (first being him, of course)

Meilan (often shortened to "Mei" by her family or very close friends) defies the odds to join the military in place of her father to protect him from imminent death - under the guise of the name "Jiahao".
